Regarding passive buildings:
NGL GROUP is a member of the Hellenic Passive Building Institute (EIPAK). Having long-term experience in the design and construction of houses and after the implementation of the recent legislation for buildings with zero and almost zero energy consumption, it aims to apply innovative techniques to buildings which, from the construction phase, will ensure as little energy requirements as possible.
In this direction, the work of NGL GROUP focuses on the following stages:
Correct Design with the appropriate computational tools to estimate the minimum energy requirement of the building envelope
Construction supervision
ICT technologies for energy monitoring and control of energy consumption
Energy buildings are now a one-way street in the construction industry.
The concept of an energy "green" building refers to a building that has a low ecological footprint both during construction and during its operation, that is, it uses few exhaustible natural resources and produces few gaseous, liquid and solid pollutants.
Essentially, it is the building that achieves maximum energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Where will investing in a Passive Building benefit us?
1. The first and foremost reason could be none other than Energy Saving.
By creating an energy building, energy losses are eliminated, as construction materials with a particularly high energy profile are chosen, while in the case of nZEB buildings (Nearly Zero Energy Consumption Buildings), the share of energy consumption is covered by renewable energy sources, while there is usually also excess energy.
2. Energy Saving leads us to…Economy.
On the one hand, the investment in an energy-efficient building has an immediate payback, and on the other hand, the low consumption of energy and resources for heating and cooling, contributes to saving money. Until today, due to the energy inadequacy of homes, the cost to cover their energy needs is particularly high.
3. We enjoy our space with the right Thermal Comfort.
By shielding the space against losses, we achieve the ideal thermal comfort. More simply, the optimal climate is achieved inside the space.
We ensure the comfortable, quality and healthy living of the resident.
4. We contribute to the environment.
Today, more than ever, there is a need to save energy and replace fossil fuels worldwide. By investing in Passive Buildings, we contribute in practice to the protection of the environment. As an example, we mention that the building sector in Europe produces approximately 55% of carbon dioxide emissions.
5. We upgrade the lifespan & value of the building.
Using high-quality construction materials and properly and effectively shielding the building envelope increases the lifespan and value of the property.
